Accounting and Finance Major
Thank you so much to the 110 brothers who contributed to the Renovation Fund Drive.
After seven years of on-going renovations for our chapter house, we have completed the major projects we envisioned in addition to bolstering chapter intangibles with scholarship and leadership development for our brothers.

Counting 2023 projects highlighted by a new roof and gutters, we invested over $1.3 M in house renovations during the campaign and funded our endowment for permanent Bell Chapter status bringing scholarships and other benefits to our undergrads in perpetuity.
WORK COMPLETED:
PHASE 7 (2023/24): We completed phase 7 of our chapter house renovation campaign primarily in the summer of 2023. We replaced the roof and gutters, updated the electrical system and added modern heating to the Gallo living room, Potwin study and Campo dining rooms as well as renovating the laundry room in the Berka basement. We also did some kitchen improvements, plumbing replacements and drainage improvements. These projects totaled $245,000.
PHASES 5 & 6: We completed phases 5 & 6 of our chapter house renovation campaign in the summers of 2021 and 2022. We replaced all the flooring on the first floor and the sleeping porch with LVB flooring, and replaced the walls, ceiling, lighting, and the front stairs to the sleeping porch. We also updated and repainted the front on the house and surfaced and striped the parking lots. These repairs cost $120,000.

ALL 26 ROOMS: Prior to this, in the first four phases, we completely renovated all 26 rooms with flooring, walls, ceilings, triple-pane windows, and canned lights. We replaced the complete outside back wall, renovated all three bathrooms, replaced flooring and painted the second floor halls, shored up the connection to the foundation, eliminated the boiler hearing system and going to fire-rated electrical heat.

WHAT'S NEXT: Remaining work to be done includes heated study rooms, further kitchen updates, and always more basement work.
Recent renovations have upgraded the dining room, hallways, bathrooms, and the roof.
